Elliott Turner is a composer and guitarist with a passion for third stream music; the meshing of jazz and classical styles and techniques to create a new world of sound. He has composed for the Pacific Lutheran University Symphony Orchestra’s Student Showcase Concert, the University of Puget Sound Jazz Orchestra’s guest performances with Victor Wooten and Joshua Redman, and various other classical/jazz ensembles. His combo piece "What Are You?" was selected for the 2019 Jazz Education Network's Young Composer Showcase, where it was performed by the US Army Jazz Ambassadors. He has a Bachelor’s in Composition from Pacific Lutheran University and Master’s in Jazz Composition at the University of Northern Colorado. He resides in Tacoma with his family.
